Frequently Asked
Questions
Are you certified?
We are indeed certified by the Certified Wedding Planner Society. The CWPS is recognized as the foremost and most esteemed wedding planning certification program in the country. Our collective aim is to enhance the standards within the wedding industry.
I’ve done all the planning; can you step in the day of the wedding?
Regrettably, the answer is no. To gain a comprehensive understanding of your plans, vision, and objectives for your significant day, we require time to familiarize ourselves with all the details. We will meticulously review your plans and vendor contracts to ensure that every aspect is thoroughly addressed. This diligence is essential for us to execute your plans flawlessly.
My venue has a coordinator, why do I need a planner?
A venue coordinator plays a vital role, yet their primary focus typically revolves around the venue itself and the associated services, such as catering. Their responsibilities generally include managing the building’s access, ensuring that any pre-arranged setups are executed as per the contract, regulating the lighting and temperature within the venue, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the restrooms. In contrast, a professional wedding planner oversees every aspect of your wedding day. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive timeline that accommodates all vendor requirements, organizing a detailed itinerary for the wedding party, managing the setup and breakdown of personal décor items, coordinating the rehearsal, and addressing inquiries from both vendors and the wedding party. Engaging a skilled wedding planner not only guarantees a seamless and enjoyable experience for you but also allows your vendors, including the venue coordinator, to concentrate on their specific roles.
Will you bring an assistant on the wedding day?
Certainly! You will be assigned a lead planner along with a minimum of one assistant. Should you determine that your event necessitates further assistance, we can certainly explore the option of adding more assistants.
Why do you have to approve my vendors?
One of our primary objectives is to ensure that your wedding day proceeds seamlessly. By evaluating and endorsing your chosen vendors, we can guarantee that each professional you engage will be dependable, skilled, and adequately equipped to fulfill the necessary expectations. With over a decade of experience in the wedding industry, we have witnessed numerous vendors enter and exit the market, allowing us to assist you in navigating the often daunting process of vendor selection.
Does that mean that I am limited to using vendors on your recommended vendor list?
Certainly! We are always receptive to collaborating with new vendors and continuously expanding our recommended vendor list. If you have a vendor in mind that is not currently included, we kindly request the opportunity to review their information before finalizing any bookings. This allows us to ensure that they meet the necessary criteria outlined previously.
Where do you plan events? Do you travel?
We are eager to travel alongside you! We have organized events in various places in the US. Additionally, we would be delighted to hear more about your preferred wedding location.
How do I know if Premier Party Planners is the right wedding planner for me?
Selecting a wedding planner is a significant choice. We will collaborate closely with you for an extended period, often spanning several months or even over a year. Therefore, it is crucial to choose someone whom you like, trust, and who comprehends your vision for the wedding. It is advisable to interview at least two planners prior to making your final decision.
As planners, we are genuinely passionate about our work and are wholly dedicated to each event we undertake. Our primary goal is to assist you in organizing an event that not only meets but surpasses your expectations. To achieve this, our lead planners commit to handling no more than one event per weekend, ensuring that you receive our complete dedication, energy, and attention. Your wedding day should be a time for you to unwind, celebrate, and savor every moment, rather than a period of stress over details or, even worse, being burdened with tasks. Our guiding principle is that you should feel like a guest at your own celebration.
